Three reasons to carry your own sexy water bottle:

Bottled water has become the default for many of us, and trust me I get it…it’s so convenient. But we’ve become a nation obsessed, and sadly, there are so many downsides to getting our water this way:

1.  Many bottled waters are just tap water! And most do not label the water source, purification methods, or toxins that may be in the water.

2.  Many bottled water containers leech bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical that has been known to be dangerous for several years, but has only just been acknowledged as a threat by the FDA.

3.  All bottled water containers end up in the recycle/garbage, or make their way out to the Pacific Ocean.  Let’s not contribute any more to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.

Now the conversation about what we should put into our bottle is a whole other log for the fire, so we’ll save that for another day.  In the meantime, try searching for your sexy bottle, and let me know what you find.
