Leandro Erlich created this simulated pool with a room for the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan. Click here to see the video.

He placed two sheets of clear acrylic glass about a foot apart and filled the space in between with water. The top surface is also filled with about 4 to 5 inches of water so that it looks like a real pool.

Can you imagine seeing that out of context and not knowing what was going on? Even knowing what it is still leaves you a bit perplexed.
