When I have a weeknight to myself I usually love being a homebody. Sometimes I wish I was one of those people that loved to run around and go non-stop, but it’s just not in my make-up. I love my jammies. I love watching a movie in my cozy bed. I love my homemade snack plates. These usually add up to some quality time alone, but sometimes I have to push myself out for a solo night on the town. On this particular Thursday evening I took myself to SFMOMA for some music, art, and me time.

In celebration of their 75th anniversary they featured a series of exhibitions and events that highlight their collection over the years. It was a nice first time to the museum, and a great date night. Des over at Des in Real Life inspired me to getting around to posting this from weeks ago. He had a killer Andy Warhol post and coincidentally the Warhol exhibit was one of my favorite stops. Thanks Des!

Along with Andy here are a few more favorites too.

What a fantastic exhibit. You’re so lucky to have the SFMOMA in your backyard! And I agree that it is always important to have time for yourself. We all need time for quiet reflection.
